Celebrating over 12 Years
of Service...
The Pleasant Hill Elementary Education
Foundation (PHEEF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining and improving the high quality of education our children
deserve at Pleasant Hill Elementary. Since our inception in 1998, the Foundation has become an integral part of the school's
community and the services offered to our students. All funds raised…stay at PHE!
Mission and Purpose
The Foundation's mission is to help
build on a tradition of educational excellence at Pleasant Hill Elementary by providing financial support for quality enrichment
opportunities which directly benefit students of PHE. Our core purpose is to support our children and teachers with
resources, which otherwise are NOT funded by the school district. For example, each year the Foundation has or may fund resources
such as salaries for teachers, instructors and/or aides, the computer lab, enrichment programs, supplemental classroom materials,
and MARE (Oceans Week).
PHEEF and PTA Together
The PHEEF is separate from the PTA,
but works closely with the PTA and the school to ensure all groups are working together and supporting PHE in the best way
possible. When extra funding allows, both groups have teamed together to bring large scale enhancements such as new computers
& printers to the computer lab and classrooms.
Learn More, Get Involved, Make a Difference!
We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month
at 8:00am in the library. Please attend a meeting to learn more about the Foundation and how it improves the quality of your
child's education. If you would like to get involved consider joining the board, chairing or helping with a committee.
